Where does Budweiser come from?

American Budweiser is sold in most of the European Union as "Bud" (left). At right is a bottle of Czech Budweiser. The name Budweiser is a German derivative adjective, meaning "of Budweis". Beer has been brewed in Budweis, Bohemia (now České Budějovice, Czechia) since it was founded in 1265.
